#5 Letter to my Dreams
You've been wildly enjoyable or just plain wild - but either way I love you for transporting me to an alternate world. Dreams saved me when there was nothing else to my life when I was bedridden and sick. Dreams have made me more creative and spiritual. They've become stronger as my spirituality grew, and I have psychic dreams, can come out of a dream on demand, and can plan out a dream and actually dream it. When you have nothing else, you become an expert at whatever it is that you CAN do. My dreams also open up new windows, ideas and oppurtunities. Dreams have helped me sort out problems and come to epiphanies. I feel I am most comfortable in a dream state, and feel i am sort of an expert at it- since all through this illness, i've lost cognitive abilities, but I gained many spiritual and creative abilities. The dreams and the peace they give me help me cope with daily life. At one point, my dreams were all I had to live life and achieve and fullfill. Now that I'm recovering, I'm able to live out my aspirations I've dreamt out in reality. I'm sane and happy - and I owe it to my dreams and spirtuality.
