Bright Day

Started off the day today with a smoothie and energy bar as usual. Psyched because I have been offered a petsitting job this summer with this lady who has an irish wolfhound, soft coated wheaten terrier, and a cairn terrier who is blind :) I am very enthusiastic about this, and she is happy to have someone who will make a connection with her babies. In a couple of hours, my sister and I will be enjoying a double feature at the movies- 3:45 Inception, then Rusty's for dinner, then at 7 Ramona & Beezus (Selena gomez !). I'm feeling really great today- everything is turning out nicely.

The Dog Who Stole My Heart

Her name is Storm and she's my favorite breed of dog (Great Dane):
Storm and her brother King Kong where dumped at a shelter. They were very use to living outside and have been adjusting wonderfully to living indoors. Storm is a beautiful petite blue lady. She has the brightest eyes and they are full of hope. Storm is curious but nervous of new things. After a bit she warms up and will lean on you :) or rest her head in your lap. She has not been introduced to children yet or to cats. She has met another dog and was a polite girl.

Started the day with a smoothie and an energy bar- lounging around until we go to Savona's later. This heat wave is crazy - between that and my new IV regimen I'm totally trapped right now. On my two weeks off the meds, i plan on going to animal farm, having a sleepover with Hannah, going to the movies with amber, having a horror movie night with Julia, seeing Kaleigh, going to the Bronx, going to Sunnyhill with hannah and mike, and having the Bonannos come up for a weekend. Yes, I may be fitting alot into one week, but I am making the most I possibly can with this summer whether or not im indoors half the time on IV.I am most excited for my sweet 16 party!! It is just going to be a dream:) All of my best friends will be there, and a ton of other loved ones as well.And my ladies from le bronx will be coming up-anna, ashley, farren, melissa (and dayna if im lucky). I havent seen three of those people in like 3 years-i am so excited for all of us to be reunited. And my mom and I have come up with some amazing decorating ideas. So picture this: The color theme is purple, pink and silver (i deciede to be really girly for one night:))Crystal bowls (from the dollar store;P) filled with purple dyed water with tealights floating on the surface. The wood tables covered in personalized silk rose petals, purple napkins, pink, purple, and silver balloons, and photo trees with pictures of me in chronological order along the banquet table- from baby pictures to present-day. The namecards will be supported by these adorable knick knacks in the form of little chairs. Everyone will sign the fancy guestbook we found upon their arrival. We are getting an organic cake so I can eat it! Exciting! My mom said a candy bar would be a good idea, so each guest will have their own candy bag to collect candy with. Then there will be a DJ playing all of my favorite music (and not playing justin bieber especially! lol). A night of dancing and eating...oh and the buffet! For appetizers, we will have an antipasta plate, pork wontons, salad, tomato&mozz, and fresh bread. For dinner, we will have mashed potatoes, salmon, penne ala vodka, roasted veggies, and chicken fingers for the more picky guests. The night cannot get any better can it???

Today's outfit- denim shorts from express, studded cami from american eagle, olive button up cotton tee (also from AE), Grey flowy cardigan from forever 21, brown leather gladiator sandals (Journey's), big sparkly flora ring from some boutique in south carolina, and grey aviators from the sunglasses hut.
